The Serenade for String Orchestra is one of Tchaikovsky's most popular works. Following the spirit of Viennese Classicism, he succeeds in creating a very personal masterpiece with the elegance of the waltz, the depth of the slow movement or the energetic finale based on Russian folk music.

For her debut in Baden, the Beethoven Young Talent Prize winner Chelsea Marylin Zurflüh has chosen an extraordinary concert aria by Mozart that uniquely combines voice and piano as soloists. Her partner is Christopher Hinterhuber, one of Austria's leading pianists. We conclude this program with Beethoven's magnificent C minor piano concerto, which opens with the piece "Ma" by the Baden composer and Lower Austria Culture Prize winner Gabriele Proy.
