Season 2025/2026

30 years at home in Casino Baden!

In November 1995, a group of young musicians and I performed our first concert as the “Sinfonietta Baden” at Casino Baden. In addition to youthful insouciance, daring, and enthusiasm, it also took a lot of perseverance to turn this “youthful prank” into what we are today. The enthusiasm you, our dear audience, showed us from the very first concert, the excellent partnership with the Casino Baden, and the inexhaustible power of music were and remain important sources of motivation for us. And there must be that one person who makes the impossible possible and holds everything together: Astrid Braunsperger, Managing Director of our orchestra since its inception, to whom I would like to express my deep gratitude for her tireless commitment on behalf of our many partners, friends, and supporters!
While the youthful vigor of the “Sinfonietta Baden” contributed significantly to our success at the beginning, we have evolved into the mature “Beethoven Philharmonic” with a persistent focus on improving musical quality. It fills me with joy that we have been able to successfully establish ourselves both nationally and internationally in recent years.
Our musical home and core of activities, however, are the more than 150 concerts we have played in Baden over the past 30 years.
In keeping with our artistic direction, this anniversary season will once again focus on masterpieces of Viennese Classicism and Early Romanticism, combining them in diverse ways with compositions from other styles. International stars and audience favorites will once again be joining us as soloists!
Confident that you will accompany us on this colorful musical journey this season, we hope that you will once again honor us with your applause on our “birthday”!
Yours sincerely,
Thomas Rösner
